Hammer’s DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE (1968) is represented through its striking original Japanese theatrical design, dominated by Christopher Lee’s blood-eyed Count Dracula beneath a montage of Gothic terror. The enormous bell, suspended victim, coffin imagery, crypt scene and vertical blood-red Japanese title lettering create a radically different visual interpretation of the film from its British and American campaigns, giving this design exceptional international Hammer character.

Directed by Freddie Francis for Hammer Film Productions, DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE stars Christopher Lee as Count Dracula alongside Veronica Carlson, Rupert Davies, Barbara Ewing and Barry Andrews. The film opened in Japan on March 12, 1969 as 帰って来たドラキュラ, with its Japanese campaign emphasizing Dracula’s supernatural menace, sexuality and vampire horror through particularly dramatic imagery and typography.

KissMeMonster’s 18x24 fine art poster is professionally produced on archival Moab Lasal Photo Matte paper, a substantial 21-mil, 310gsm professional-grade stock selected for high-quality photographic and fine art presentation. The blood-red Japanese lettering, Christopher Lee Dracula imagery, dramatic bell composition and historic international campaign design create a distinctive display piece for DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, Christopher Lee, Hammer Horror, Japanese movie-poster and classic vampire cinema collectors.
