Limited Edition Photograph (learn more)
In stock
Jayne Mansfield embodies the exuberant glamour of the 1950s in this spectacular color photograph, posing poolside in a vivid orange-and-yellow bikini with both arms raised behind her head. Her sweeping profile pose and brilliant warm-toned swimwear stand dramatically against the pale poolside setting, water and deep green foliage, creating a wonderfully sun-drenched image of Mansfield at the height of her emergence as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable glamour stars.
By the late 1950s, Jayne Mansfield had become an international screen and publicity phenomenon through films including THE GIRL CAN’T HELP IT (1956), THE WAYWARD BUS (1957) and WILL SUCCESS SPOIL ROCK HUNTER? (1957). Her glamorous image became inseparable from the era’s fascination with Hollywood celebrity, pin-up photography and vivid color imagery, placing her among the most visually recognizable stars of mid-century popular culture.
Carefully restored and professionally printed from archival source material, this museum-quality photograph preserves the rich period color, brilliant sunlight and striking contrast between Mansfield’s orange-and-yellow bikini and the lush poolside surroundings—a distinctive collectible for admirers of Jayne Mansfield, 1950s Hollywood, vintage swimsuit photography and classic glamour.
