THE ARRIVAL FROM THE DARKNESS + ST. WENCESLAS: Czech Silent Films by director Jan S. Kolár

This set features two rare Silent Films from a pioneer of the Czech film industry, Jan S. Kolár. In occult thriller THE ARRIVAL FROM THE DARKNESS, a book collector uses an ancient manuscript to revive his long-dormant 16th century ancestor who then tries to steal the collector's wife. ST. WENCESLAS is a medieval epic set in 10th century Bohemia about the struggle between paganism and Christianity.
