PETER CUSHING as Baron Victor Frankenstein and KIWI KINGSTON as the Monster are captured within the expansive laboratory environment of THE EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN (1964), surrounded by the elaborate machinery and Gothic architecture of Frankenstein’s experiments. The wide composition reveals towering equipment, electrical apparatus, glass vessels and deep stone interiors, allowing the laboratory itself to become a major visual element alongside the characters. The scale of the setting creates an impressive record of Hammer’s interpretation of Frankenstein’s world.
Directed by FREDDIE FRANCIS for Hammer Film Productions, THE EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN stars Peter Cushing as Baron Victor Frankenstein, Kiwi Kingston as the Monster and Sandor Elès as Hans. The film marked Cushing’s third Hammer appearance as Frankenstein’s creator and introduced a new visual approach to the Monster, influenced by Hammer’s distribution relationship with Universal Pictures and its ability to draw upon elements associated with the classic Frankenstein imagery. The production was filmed at Bray Studios and completed in 1963 before its 1964 release.
Carefully restored from archival photographic materials and professionally lab-developed, this museum-quality photograph is presented uncropped, preserving the complete image area contained in the original studio-issued archival material. The William Turner by Hahnemühle is one of the most popular papers used in the Giclee printing industry. This is a 310g natural white mould made natural line paper with 100% rag content making it highly archival. It has a slight coarse texture which gives photos and artwork an elegant look. These fine art paper prints (also known as Giclee) are ordered by galleries, individual artists and photographers. The papers and inks are not only archival but use some of the most accurate print technology for full color prints.

Acid-free and lignin-free, these are both face resistant and meet all conservation quality standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild. Mats are digitally cut for ultimate precision. The window will be 1/8″ smaller than the print dimensions.
